Principle and Values

CEMF´ activities are based on the following principle and values:

1.      Financial Inclusion and Local Development: the center activities aim to promote financial inclusion, taking into account an important dimension that supports sustainable development at the local level.

2.      Ethics , Social and Environmental Responsibility: the center’s activities are guided by ethnical, transparent and respectful standards towards all stakeholders, well-knowledge of its own responsibility of positively changing society.  

3.      Excellence: the center is committed to excellence in teaching and research, as a mean to positively contribute to society through the production of academic knowledge.

4.   Systemic Vision and Interdisciplinary: it regards the object of study as a broad and integrated perspective, including an interdisciplinary approach, to face the complex challenges of the contemporary society.      

5.      Creativity and Innovation: guide our research and help to build up knowledge as well as planning and implementing proposals related to CEMF´s research interests.
