Goals

CEMF´s main goals are:

·         Conducting research related to the microfinance sector;

·         Attracting international research centers and think-tanks involved in this field as well as supporting investors’ interests in Brazil; 

·         Training human capital involved in the microfinance sector; 

·         Disseminating microfinance´s knowledge as well as expanding the public and private interest via the microfinance field;

·         Supporting microcredit institutions that adopt better business practices and good corporate governance standards.

·          Supporting a regulatory framework that better meets the sector´s needs; and promoting the expansion of new business models that meets the specificities of the Brazilian regional needs.
